Finding the right location is not all it takes. In Cape Town schools it was exam time, prior to the holidays and we had to wait for vacation time to start.
As was to be expected at this time of the year, the black South East (wind) was howling away, so we required stable scaffolding for the higher viewpoint shots. We also needed a lot of styling and many helping hands assisting in this shooting, which involved a hundred kids of different ethnic groups.
I was AD-ing with a megaphone trying to tell them what to do. Still, everybody seemed to have fun, although, we kept them running for some time.
