Ellis Island, New Orleans and Pennsylvanian Amish County – a different type of road trip
This was a road trip of a different kind. A calendar project where the car was not the hero but the story that accompanied the venture.
We started out from New York’s Ellis Island and worked our way via the Pennsylvanian Amish County to New Orleans, Louisiana. There was a very special shoot with the „Preservation Hall Orchestra,” with most of the members 80 years and older.
We went on to Carhenge in Nebraska, Pikes Peak, Colorado and ended up in Death Valley, California. The hardest part of this production was finding Japanese restaurants along the way for our clients.
